Policies Over Politics

We've had decades of one-party rule in NY-13, and too many families are still struggling. Our children are leaving school without the skills they need to succeed in a modern economy. Violence and distrust have strained relationships between neighbors, businesses, and our youth. Longtime residents are being priced out of the communities they helped build. For too long, they have promised freedom while delivering bureaucracy and fake smiles. They expand government, reward friends and allies, and create fewer pathways to economic mobility for those of us trying to survive.

We’ve become a dumping ground for dangerous individuals who accept wages for less and receive more support than those of us who have struggled with affording to live between Kingsbridge and Harlem. The people I run against promise freedom, but we know all the offer are chains. They steal from us, to give to their donors and partners leaving less and less for us. They reduce our police force to make our neighbors less safe to live in. They promise big solutions and never get down to what creates success.

I'm running on a simple principle: Government should create opportunities, not set backs.

Expand Success Zones Harlem and The Bronx will be open for business.

  • Support native-owned small businesses with grants for residence who’ve lived in NY-13 longer than 15 years.

  • Encourage investment in neighborhood commercial corridors.

  • Create partnerships that connect Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood, and Kingsbridge.

Be the New Downtown: Expand nightlife, arts, and cultural experiences that keep citizens spending locally.

Bring businesses in by creating zones people want to stay in.

CONGESTION REPARATIONS

New York has generated nearly $1 billion through Congestion Pricing while many communities in Upper Manhattan and the Bronx bear the burden of increased traffic and pollution.

We will fight to redirect resources back into affected neighborhoods through:

  • Free Air filtration systems

  • Free Water filtration systems

  • Monthly Environmental testing

  • Public health monitoring

  • Investments in carbon consuming infrastructure and roof gardens through our Beautify the Bronx program.

The Bronx is paying the price and deserve reparations.

Stay Informed

Representation should never be distant. I will maintain a constant presence throughout District 13 and provide regular public updates on:

  • Crime reduction efforts

  • Economic development

  • Small business growth

  • Educational outcomes

  • Infrastructure investments

I've built communities before, and I know what's possible when there’s full transparency. It's time to stop being a political afterthought and start becoming a model for what the rest of New York City can become.

Cop Outs: Community & Police Partnership

We must rebuild trust between young people and law enforcement. We'll create structured programs that allow youth to interact with police officers outside of crisis situations.

A community outreach program to get our youth more comfortable interacting with police at a younger age.

Programs may include:

  • Library readings

  • Sports leagues

  • Community events

  • Mentorship programs

  • Educational workshops

  • Youth giveaways

Safer communities begin with stronger relationships.

Bring Back the Gifted

Mamdani defunded the Gifted programs in NYC. We will offer free, business-backed workforce education for residents ages 14-30. We'll partner with employers, universities, and technology companies to provide free certifications in:

  • Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies

  • Streaming and digital media production

  • Brand marketing and entrepreneurship

  • Personal finance and wealth building

  • Healthcare and nursing pathways

We'll place special emphasis on nursing education to help address New York City's healthcare worker shortages while creating high-paying career opportunities in Harlem, Washington Heights, Inwood, and the Bronx.

We will prepare for tomorrow's economy, not yesterday's handouts.

No NGOs

Too much money disappears into administrative overhead before it reaches the people who need it most.

We'll explore an innovative direct-assistance programs that put resources directly into the hands of citizens earning $65,000 or less. We will develop an exclusive lottery.

Everyday users will be rewarded coins and can play games of chance. Daily winners with cash payments between $50 and $1000 dispersed daily. For many this is just enough to not be late on payments and survive in an expensive city.

We will infuse more direct cash to those dealing with the affordability crisis and reach more people than NGOs.

Money for the people, not the politicians and their friends.

Beautify the Bronx

Decline is a choice. Revenue and taxes generated through lottery will be reinvested into beautification projects across NY-13.

We'll focus on: more green spaces, drug & homeless-free parks, public art installations, community garden, and safer public spaces & bring the peace programming.

Rebuild pride for all neighborhoods from Kingsbridge to Harlem

H.E.L.P. Harlem

Harlem East Local Places (HELP) will strengthen bakeries, butchers, bodegas and grocery stores preparing to compete with Mamdani Mart opens in 2028.

This program will provide talent from Gifted for content production, brand marketing and social media exposure to increase customers and best compete with Zohran Mamdani.
